B & J Racing Engines, headed by Bob Jones, has been building engines for Motorsport for more than 25 years!
B & J's competitive roots lie in Grass Track Racing where the Manchester based company have enjoyed many years of success. More recently B & J's racing engines have been used in touring cars (4 cylinder Toyota/Lexus engines in the British Touring Car Championship), International GT racing (Chevrolet LS1 V8's used in Corvette's in British GT and Belcar), in the club racing, "Silhouette" Saloon cars, and in Pick Up racing B & J supply the majority of the grid.
As well as racing engines built for competition in motorsport, B&J's Engineering division specialises in Natural Gas Engines for industry. B&J uses and recommends Newen Single-Point-Cutting™ computer controlled valve seat cutting machines.
